results!

Recently received my results, through SMS…

Honestly, not sure if I am happy with my results. I got

• CG1111 – B
• CS1010 – B-
• CS1231 – B-
• GER1000H – B+
• MA1511 – B+
• MA1512 – B+

CAP: 3.5 (before S/U)

I am really disappointed in my CS1010 results. I thought I understood the content well enough to get at least a B+. Maybe I was wrong or maybe the bell curve was too steep 😦 I think this module is really tough for non-experienced programmers to catch up, even though it is probably possible. With their programming knowledge as a upper hand and the fact that the way the content was taught, in retrospect, I really think studying the C language beforehand would really help you, especially if you’d like to score at least a B+.

CS1231 was surprising, since I did not finish the paper and went into the examination hall with little knowledge of the module’s content… I honestly thought I would have to re-mod it. Honestly, no advice from me since I am still more or less clueless about this mod. No doubt it is probably aimed to help us understand the way the computer thinks(?) but I don’t really see the point of it….

CG1111….. I thought my project was good enough for and A. But I got a B instead. Not even a B+… Kind of regretting not putting in more effort for the first quiz 😦

Overall, I plan to S/U my B and B-s to obtain a 4.0 CAP and study extremely hard next semester since I have only 6 + 12MCs left…

Time to start the grind…
